Therapy at Personal Growth Psychology goes beyond symptom management. It's a space where you can strive to deeply understand yourself, make sense of your experiences, and create meaningful long-term change.
Our stress management sessions are designed to teach clients practical skills and strategies to manage stress more effectively.
We help clients identify the sources of their stress and develop coping mechanisms to reduce its impact on their daily lives.
We incorporate psychological methods used to treat insomnia and nightmares in our sleep sessions, with the objective of improving overall sleep quality for individuals.
In our anxiety treatment sessions, we use evidence-based treatments to help clients address their symptoms, develop long-term coping skills and change their relationship with anxiety.
We focus on understanding and addressing the factors that may be maintaining your depression. Beyond managing symptoms, our goal is to help you reconnect with a sense of purpose and meaning, supporting you in creating a life that feels fulfilling and aligned with your values.
Shame and guilt are often deeply connected to emotional distress and longstanding patterns of self-criticism. Our sessions focus on helping clients develop a more compassionate and balanced relationship with these feelings, so they no longer dictate their choices, relationships, or sense of self.
Our self-esteem and confidence sessions help clients develop greater confidence in themselves and their abilities. We help clients identify and change negative self-talk and belief patterns that may be keeping them stuck.
We use well established psychological treatments to help people reduce or cease the problematic use of alcohol, nicotine and cannabis.
We may be able to offer support for dependency on other substances, pending an assessment of your needs.
